IPSY January 2013

Hello and here's my January Ipsy bag! I think I'm going to keep this subscription for another year or so and cancel my Birchbox subscription. The amount of beauty samples that I have is overwhelming and I can't possibly finish them all. I really like that each month they come with a bag. Makes storing my samples so much easier.

This month's theme is superstars. Inside the bag is a star patterned fabric, so cute!

Bloody Mary by Nailtini Nail Polish - $13
Full sized sample! In November I got their Millionaire glitter nail polish. I really liked it. This is a very basic shade of red and you can't go wrong with that. Although I think I'm starting to have too many red nail polishes in my collection. I'm waiting to get a color that wows me.

Argan Oil by Josie Maran - $14
I'm excited to try this sample. I heard so many good things about this oil. Definitely going to try on my hair and at least once on my face. A little hesitant to put on my face because too much oil can make me break out. This can also be used on your cuticles.

Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Volumizing Hairspray - $2.50
Honestly I rarely use hair spray not just because it's bad for the environment but also because I don't like the way it turns my hair into a hard shell. I guess I'll hang on to it for the rare occasion that I do my hair up.

Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter by Pacifica Perfume - $7
Smells good! I love citrusy scents. This winter has been harsh on my skin lately and I was about to go out and buy some more lotion. Now I have this so I guess I'll be ok for the time being. Also a full sized sample!

SOHO "Get a grip" Concealer Brush
Can't really get a price on this, says it depends on the store. Well it's estimate worth is about $7-9. I like the long handle. I love getting brushes in my bag. I can never have too many tools.

So the total worth of my bag was about $43! That's pretty good. Do you guys want me to continue putting the prices to my samples? I wasn't doing that before because I was lazy. Haha. Also, this subscription is just $10/month. Try it out~ Oh and I didn't even include the value of the makeup bag.
