BIRCHBOX January 2013

It's been one full year of my Birchbox subscription. When I first joined I was hesitant because I wasn't sure if I'd like the things I'd get, but at the same time I was very excited to try new things. I think overall that I did get new things and I experimented with new make up and skin care. However I think all the samples I got were something that suited me very well. In the end, I am going to be canceling my subscription. I'm trying to make room for new subscriptions this year to try new things. 

Anyways, here's my January box. 

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream
I really like this brand. I don't currently own any products by them, but I've tried them at Sephora. I'm almost out of my current face cream, so it'll be nice to see if I like this one. Currently looking for a new face cream to purchase within the next 2 months.

Harvey Prince Skinny Chic Perfume
Oh "joy" more perfume samples. Seriously I have more perfume samples than I know what to do with.

Ojon damage reverse™ Instant Restorative Hair Serum
I'm happy that I got this sample. Lately my hair has been feeling very damaged. I think it just needs some product TLC. However, the size of this sample is rather pathetic. I think it just has enough for one use.

theBalm® cosmetics Put a Lid On It™
This is eyeshadow primer. Nice to get a sample that compliments the other samples I got before. Already have some theBalm eyeshade samples! Loving their products so far. Can't wait to try this and see how effective it is. Samples size is ok.

Alessandro Nail Polish in Blue Lagoon
Um, I think someone in the packaging department made a mistake, but yay for me. They have given me 2 bottles instead of one. Not complaining there, however blue is not a color I wear very often.
